Golf 360 — Cookie Policy
Version 1 — Last updated: 30 September 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Golf 360 Ltd (company number 13264363) uses cookies and similar technologies on golf-360.co.uk and app.golf-360.co.uk (together, the "Service"), and how you can control them. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website or use an app. They can be "session" cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or "persistent" cookies (which remain for a set period). Similar technologies include local/session storage in your browser.
2. What we currently use
We reviewed the Service's actual cookie and script behaviour on 30 September 2026. As of that date, the Service uses:
| Name/provider | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Session cookie (app.golf-360.co.uk) | Strictly necessary | Keeps you signed in after authenticating with your one-time passcode, so you don't have to re-authenticate on every page | Session / until logout |
| Cloudflare Turnstile (challenges.cloudflare.com) | Strictly necessary | Distinguishes real visitors from bots on our contact form, to prevent spam submissions, without a traditional CAPTCHA | Set by Cloudflare; see Cloudflare's own cookie information |
| Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com) | Functional (no cookie set, but connects to a third party) | Loads the Poppins typeface used in our design | N/A — no cookie, but your browser does make a direct request to Google's servers to fetch the font file |
We found no analytics, advertising, or social media tracking cookies in use on either the Website or the App as of the date above.
3. Do we need your consent?
Under the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), cookies that are strictly necessary for a service you have asked for (such as keeping you signed in, or protecting a form from spam) do not require your consent. Based on the review above, everything currently in use on the Service falls into that category, so we do not currently show a cookie consent banner.
If this changes — for example, if we add analytics, marketing, or other non-essential cookies in the future (which may happen as we add features such as Marketplace or Loyalty & Rewards) — we will update this Policy and put an appropriate consent mechanism in place before any such cookie is set, as required by law.
4. Google Fonts note
Loading fonts directly from Google's servers means your browser makes a request to Google, which involves your IP address being visible to Google as part of that request, even though no cookie is set for this purpose. If Golf 360 wants to remove this minimal third-party contact entirely, fonts can be self-hosted instead of loaded from Google's CDN — this is a technical option worth considering, not a compliance requirement at present.
5. How to control cookies
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies (such as the session cookie) may mean you cannot stay signed in or use certain features of the Service. Most browsers let you:
- see what cookies are stored and delete them individually;
- block third-party cookies;
- block cookies from particular sites;
- block all cookies;
- delete all cookies when you close your browser.
Refer to your browser's help documentation for exact steps, as these vary by browser and device.
6. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy as the Service changes — in particular, if we introduce analytics, marketing, or other non-essential cookies, this Policy and our consent mechanism will be updated accordingly before those cookies are used. We will post the updated Policy here with a new "Last updated" date.
